Shields at Home was founded in 2022 to help health systems design, implement, and operate successful Hospital-at-Home programs.

Our services are distinguished by a uniquely high level of partnership, customization, and operational support. We work alongside health systems to build sustainable programs that improve patient experience, optimize resources, and support long-term growth.

Since launching our inaugural Hospital-at-Home program in partnership with Tampa General Hospital in 2022, Shields at Home has expanded its work with leading health systems across Florida and New York. We have also supported the continued growth of the Tampa General program, including expansion into additional hospitals within the system.

Today, Shields at Home partners with health systems to bring hospital-level care into the home through a proven implementation framework focused on quality, operational excellence, and scalability.

In 2012, Shields Health Solutions (ShieldsRx) was launched, which quickly became the premier specialty pharmacy accelerator in the country. Today, Shields Health Solutions manages outpatient specialty pharmacy operations for more than 75 health system partners and 1,000 hospitals nationwide.
